Today, citizens of Kwara State head to the polls to elect leaders in the 16 Local Government Areas (LGAs). This crucial exercise aims to strengthen grassroots democracy and effective governance.
Our organization, Women Environment and Youth Development Initiative (WOYODEV) Team is observing the elections to ensure the process is free, fair, and transparent. Our team is committed to promoting democratic principles and citizen participation.
Objective: To observe and report on the electoral process, focusing on:
- Voter turnout and engagement.
- Electoral materials and logistics.
- Security and safety.
- Compliance with electoral guidelines.
